With Sunshine Cleaning, I have officially seen 100 new films in 2018. Not including any standup, or rewatches. 100 films in 139 days. I am proud of myself for watching that many new films. I don't know how I didn't reach this number in 2017 or 2016. I was so lazy with my watching. Congrats to me! Here's to 100+ more in 2018 :D
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Eugghhhhh. This film is disgusting and horrible. But it’s so so smart, and controlled. It knows exactly what its doing, and what it’s doing is disturbing me. It is so brutal, and realistic in its depiction of its violence. It’s not paced like a traditional horror film. The first three characters to get killed are murdered within the space of 15 minutes. There is so much imagery and action that is burnt in my brain, and I’m sure will inform…
So often I get the urge to rewatch this film. It's so so easy to do so with how short it is, and how amazingly hilarious it is. So well written and acted. My friends and I quote it all the time. I love this film.

"What are you bidding on?"
"I'm bidding on a table."
