    The Salesman

Don't worry about it, it's just the first 100 years that are tough.

A heavy piece of tragic brilliance.

Farhadi is a filmmaker who always seems to know exactly how much to reveal to an audience without being either too opaque or too obnoxious.

Most importantly and unlike most films, it doesn't forget to unfold people's feelings, study its characters' personality and show honestly and bluntly, without being melodramatic.

Lust awakens the desire to possess. And that awakens the intent to murder.

Kim Ki-duk's stunning portrait of human nature and the consequences of our actions.

The film is split into five chapters, the title seasons, jumping several years each time to tell the life stories of our central characters. almost entirely devoid of dialogue but bellowing loudly on the human state.

The narrative of the film is about monks, but the life lessons and festering emotions are universally applicable to humans.

Kim Ki-duck has an unrivalled ability to take seemingly muted moments and pack them with the type of drama.

Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone.

The movie turns from a mystery into a tragedy - and is filled with many unexpected turns and absurd, sometimes surreal images.

I was absolutely impressed with the countless creative transitions between scenes, with VFX or camera movements. It is dynamic and powerful!

The cinematography techniques are stunning in this film, always complimenting and emphasizing the story... haven't seen many movies with such obvious skill behind it.
