  Being the theater nerd I am let me give you some of my thoughts on this movie:
  •I liked the rewrite of Jared & Connor’s dad characters.
  •Ben Platt does look old, but damn he plays the part well.
  •I wish they didn’t put in a new song and would have put in Good For You.
  •I love all of these Broadway shows becoming musicals because it makes them accessible to more people. I do wish that they would all release the stage version like Hamilton.
  •What if this is the movie Amy Adam’s wins an Oscar for???
  •Connor’s dad is fine as hell.
