By far my favourite of the trilogy. The parallels and connections between the characters were fascinating, what a beautiful story Kieslowski managed to weave together. I stand by my opinions and ratings of Blue and White (both of which I liked, but less so than this one) but Red does give me a whole new appreciation of the trilogy as a whole. If I were to separate Red away from the other two, I would still find this one to be absolutely masterful. The performances (especially Irène Jacob) were truly incredible, every shot beautifully crafted, and every other storytelling device in use here were top tier level. I already want to watch it again.
