After seeing Rashomon I admit I was excited to see this film and I have to admit it does not disappoint. For starters the musical score is just wonderful, I found myself thinking "wow this is just some great music". Not to mention the cinematography, from the long shots to the close-ups it all looked beautiful, my favourite shots being when we see into the forest and there is either a fog or morning mist that is apparent, it's truely a work of art. Last but certianly not least, the characters, personally my favourite had to be Kikuchiyo who had both some good comedic moments and dramatic moments. Overall a wonderful film.
