While I have to admit I am a fan of Nolan's work, this film is still no exception to that as I'll go into, but I can't help but give it a lower rating due to the confusion and complexity this film comes with.
To start with the good, not unlike Nolan's other work this film is pretty well shot and has an interesting concept. Because of it I like this film, the cinematography is pretty well done and the idea was interesting enough to bring me to a theatre to see it. But just because an idea is interesting does not make it good.
Due to the time warping concept of the film it was a little hard to follow at most moments. As a matter of fact I still don't exactly know how or why the villain of the film attempts to end the world. Even further I really don't know how he was stopped either.
Needless to say I need to watch it again to further understand the outcome better, but because of that I am giving it a lower rating.
