I thought this was a romance movie

Contains mild spoilers: 

Nearly the entire first act of this movie I was thinking “I’d rather be watching The grand Budapest hotel right now”. Act one was probably 20-30 minutes longer than it should have been.

Thankfully the movie really picked up in the second and third acts of the movie until a long animated sequence in the third act that is meant to emulate a comic strip. I did not care for this scene at all. 

The cast is worth half a star alone but this is definitely towards the bottom of the Anderson movies I’ve seen thus far.

Probably the strangest podcast I’ve ever seen

I’ve been itching to watch this movie and October 3rd seemed like a perfectly spooky day to do it. 

I’d appreciate any spooky movie recs y’all want to throw my way

If this movie doesn’t make you cry, you have no soul

Like many others I’ve been waiting over a year for this movie to come out, so even if it sucked I probably would have lied to myself and said it was great. Thankfully that was not the case. The green knight had more or less everything I wanted, an incredible soundtrack, gorgeous camera work, and a reasonably paced story. 

The viewing experience was made more intense by someone literally choking and requiring the heimlich mid movie.

Can’t wait to see it again!

This was the first movie in 18 months I saw in theaters. I honestly really missed the experience. Movie was great too, which is the cherry on top

Pretty dope movie, super dope soundtrack

I sat for at least 15 minutes trying to come up with a review for this, and I am completely lost for words. At the very least I definitely enjoyed it
