I can tell Snyder had a better vision of the movie and the overall DC universe than the people that took over after his absence, but this movie still has the same issues of atonality, poor pacing, and too much filler nonsense. There's just so many things in this movie that have me scratching my head.

It's long become apparent that DC failed to lay the proper groundwork for an extensive film universe. This movie should have just been made later in the chronology so we don't have to sit through 2 hours of exposition before we get to the actual movie.

This is a better Prarie Home Companion movie than the Prarie Home Companion movie

Slows down a little too much toward the end. The Misery influence is obviously there, but this movie didn't do much to set itself apart and establish its own identity. Still a fairly impressive debut from Kiera Allen

This is the feel-good movie that every other feel-good movie watches to feel good
