"Is tonight the night? Why not?"

5th time paying to see this, first with my older brother and out of all the genres he put it under, he called it a contemporary western after it was over, didn't know how to respond but I guess I don't blame him.

If I'm going to see this again it HAS GOT TO BE IN L.A. Can't have it any other way. My heart knows this'll never get old, the heart will only grow fonder.

    Thoughts during:
    -She is smoking....literally.
-Margot Robbie can't exist in this universe, there would've be a reference by now
-this family makes the Succession folks look tame
-when she wants to bang on the wedding night, and there's an evil aunt trying to fuck someone's life.
-coke addict's the wildcard, soulless bad seed, brother's the damaged pitier, douchebag that was terrible at the game old maids....what the fuck is that anyway?
-fucking rich people, I was waiting for that one!…

An oracular sci-fi epic. Deserves to be called that. Also, these characters can all capture different moods for the rest of the year. The shimmer being the mood of re-invention. Something like that. Thinking about this again, easily makes my top 5 of the year. Wonder, melancholy sets in at the right moments, with such profoundness it makes sense why it hasn't left my mind. Really thankful for this one.

Still stupendous. Virtue, really fast running and wild, ballsy action sequences from Tom Cruise is the perfect formula for pure entertainment. But this ride of superhuman megawatt energy is set apart from the rest of course based on the fact that it's also profound with Ethan Hunt's world. If you're in, you're in for one hell of a mission.
Also, focusing on Sean Bean's performance more so I noticed that the fact he doesn't have a changed reaction DESPITE being shot by Ilsa(ok maybe a little) and being driven around furiously by Tom Cruise (an excellent driver) is so fucking awesome.
