Well here it is! Movie number 2,000!

It’s both thrilling and depressing in equal measure to think about the fact that I will never run out of good movies to watch and rewatch and I’ll likely never see every great movie that’s out there before I eventually croak. Oh well moving on!!!!

The funniest thing about this movie is that everyone who voted it Best Picture also saw 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY and decided that no, OLIVER! was better

There's a poster for this movie that says "much much more than just a musical!" and just...no...no it's really not anything more than that at all. Good songs tho! And Oliver Reed was one of cinema's great scumbag villains RIP

Her was probably my most devastating trip to the movies I can remember. As a preface I’ll just tell you that today started as one of the best…

In fact it was incredibly heartening to revisit a film like Jaws, one I remember loving from a very early age, and find just how masterful it is on so many levels. I always remember loving the characters, the story and…
