“Real life awaits us.”
An unbelievable experience. The Holy Mountain, filled with “sacrilegious imagery,” is a brilliant commentary on, well, just about everything. The production here is something else; it has perhaps the best set design I’ve seen in film, it’s a wonder how Jodorowsky pulled this off with a small budget. I forgot how fantastic the score is here; it’s honestly gorgeous. The perfect example of commentary through imagery, truly phenomenal.
