Letterboxd — Your life in film

One of the first films i've seen in a long time that felt completely fresh and new. Not adapted from a book or graphic novel and not a reboot. A little confusing on the first watch for most but nevertheless a brilliantly put together film. Also it's pretty much a casting call for the new Batman film.

It makes a lot more sense if you've read the graphic novels, but if you haven't it doesn't stop it from being an awesome film. Just be prepared for it to get a little weird.

Less of a review more of a declaration of love for this film. Despite being someone who generally loves action films, this is my favourite film of all time.

Good film, incredibly stressful to watch. You quickly get used to the fact every time something good happens something ten times worse will happen soon.
