Adam Bernstein’s review published on Letterboxd:
My favorite Spike Lee mode is when he makes a slick, commercial genre movie but then inserts a bunch of genuinely exciting, angry, and radical digressions throughout. With BlacKkKlansman, the result is sometimes messy, but man does it pack a punch.
Also shout out to the fantastic cast. I know this is a backhanded compliment, but David Duke feels like the role Topher Grace was born to play.
