Here's an idea: get 110 lions, a handful of tigers, a few leopards, jaguars, and cheetahs and throw them in and around a house with a handful of humans. Despite knowing 1000% for sure that no one died during the making of this incredibly, insanely ill advised production I was just waiting for someone to get eaten (that's not to say that no one got seriously hurt, because according to Wikipedia over 70 people did).

    I don't know that I've…

    Do you like:
    •Satanic bikers?
    •Undercover cops?
    •Skinny dipping?
    •Blokes with beards?
    •Hot sheilas?
    •Top hats?
    •Sleeping in a coffin?

If you answered "yes," "maybe," or "no" to any of these then you should watch Stone.

I was shocked that this unlikely sequel was made and even more shocked that I actually enjoyed it because it looked horrible in the trailers. It's not quite as good as the first but it also has car chases through London (or some Eastern European city that's doubling for London), which the first one didn't have. What else am I gonna do on President's Day besides watch some jingoistic bullshit action movies? Surprisingly, I think this is one of the better action flicks of the past few years. Yeah it's super ridiculous but once that assault on the White House starts the action never really stops. I'm super down with Gerard Butler taking out terrorists in ultra violent ways so here we are and I'm giving this movie too high of a rating but whatever I like Gerard Butler so shut up.

On a second viewing it's still hilarious, still mind boggling, and still awe inspiring in its presentation of misinformation as fact.

Jason Momoa murdering drug runners in creative ways set against a beautiful snowy mountain backdrop. You either want to see that or you don't.
