Isabelly’s review published on Letterboxd:
I spent a good portion of the movie trying to put together the bits and pieces to make sense of it, but are we not really supposed to? We are in Anthony’s mind and we should just embrace his turmoil and get in his shoes. As the film progressed the tension and despair in Anthony’s mind escalated; it hits you...it’s very powerful. I felt like a little kid, along with Anthony, in the end and was brought to tears.
I am waiting for Anthony Hopkins to win that well deserved Oscar and if he doesn’t, oh boy...I am coming for the academy. Also, very nice set design, which played an important role in the film along with the theme of time, and another amazing score by Ludovico Einaudi (I am so glad he is getting more recognition).
