I love to read and listen to music.
Love that they recited Ulysses.
And this really is a lovely little movie.
It’s got some wonderfully realized characters, an interesting score, very intentional direction and cinematography, and a sort of timeless quality about it. On the whole, it works. And quite well.
I found myself most invested in the stories of Neil and Todd, with the latter’s hesitance to share his work being especially relatable.
I may or may not return to update this log later but, for now, those are my thoughts.
The best epilogue to the Skywalker Saga I could have asked for. The fun of playing and building with Lego and the genuine magic of Star Wars brought into a 47 minute special.
Not only that but it's a wonderful reminder that the love and joy I felt for Episode VII and VIII was for good reason. No convoluted plotlines or ridiculous conveniences, just good fun and meta humor.

Right. So I had no clue they dropped that Chapter One title card at the end. Genuine surprise there considering it took two years for Chapter Two to come out. Normally if you pull something like that it's just one year.
