Movies that feel like an adrenaline ride & give me goosebumps are the best. Throw in some nostalgia & you’ve got me. This is a hardcore “dad film” which isn’t bad because this kicked ass from start to finish.

The casting department did a great job. Glen Powell is just one example, but he was the perfect fit for the “cocky pilot”.

    An absolute great theater experience.

There will be many rewatchs in the future.

    My wife gave it 5/5

    The Batman

I would like to start by saying that Batman is my favorite comic character and that David Fincher is my favorite director.

Holy shit this movie ruled. The introduction of Batman was badass and everyone in the cast killed it. This had inspirations from Seven & The Zodiac and I was digging it. The almost 3 hour runtime didn’t bother me at all either. That score gave me chills and the cinematography was gritty but gorgeous. I wanted them to restart it as soon as the credits started.

Every time Paul Dano would raise his voice I just kept picturing him in There Will Be Blood.

Is this undeniably stupid? Yes. But it’s so funny and entertaining I can’t not watch it once a year.

  • "Sr."

I like how RDJ put it at the end describing this, “we’re here, we make something then we’re gone”. This was a very touching film and informative because I knew next to nothing about Robert Downey Sr. If you have 90 minutes to spare I would recommend this.

Am I giving The Fabelmans a good rating because Spielbergs such iconic director and this is about the love for movies? Possibly, but it also deserves it because Spielberg directed it with so much care and love. You can’t help but see it in every scene. Everyone be glad Spielberg picked directing as his career.

    Ford v Ferrari

The one word to describe Ford V. Ferrari is exhilarating. Those racing scenes really pull you in and don’t let you breathe till it’s over. Bale and Damon are great together and it’s a shame that they’re running against each other in the best actor category. The supporting cast is awesome too.
