  A lot to enjoy here, gorgeous production value, Bale really creates his own Howie Ratner-- but man it's 2022 and people just do not know how to do basic plotting for a conspiracy film anymore and I'm worrying, darling!

  Actually I'll go further here: Even some of the best films of the year (Nope, Everything Everywhere All At Once, etc) have no idea how to do pacing.

  And yet... one film rises above all the rest... a truly great film…
