B.A.D.’s review published on Letterboxd:
Simultaneously being and satirizing milquetoast teen horror while also having technical and thematic elements of arthouse filmmaking, Ma is the type of movie we only get once every blue moon.
On this watch it became much more apparent -Ma originally was just a terrible script Blumhouse had lying around, but with the changes by director Tate Taylor and the introduction of so many incredible character actors. it was sculpted into something truly magnificent.
High and low culture collide!
Unironically love this movie.
