My favorite is to turn out the lights and enjoy an R rated nightmare, but I share screens with a wife and 7 year old boy.

Popcorn Frights Film Fest movie # 1

You’ve got some paranormal investigators making a show about the disappearance of some teenage boys. I really enjoyed this part of Malibu Horror Story.  It gives a creative mix of documentary, found footage, and standard movie. The found footage parts reminded me of some of the bad movies I would make in the backyard as a kid. Some people might really enjoy the finale, but I didn’t think it brought anything fresh.  Do movies have to be 90 minutes long?  Wrap it up guys.

I want to play Bodies! Bodies! Bodies!

This movie was surprisingly fun. It’s ideal to watch in a group setting. We had fun guessing who would die, and who the killer was. It made me laugh. There was also a pretty brutal kill. The woman next to me in the theatre reacted quiet a bit to every blow. So fun!

    No spoilers I promise

Nope is such a fun title for this movie because there are several scenes that made the audience react that way. There was a lot of screaming and laughing from the crowd. It was a good time.
I overheard someone say to the person they watched the movie with as they walked out of the theater, “I don’t like jump scares!  I don’t like jump scares!”  That seemed like a very unfair critique. I’m guessing they…
