  • Big Daddy

    Big Daddy 1999

★★★ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 22 May 2022

One of Sandlers better comedies, tugs on the ol’ heartstrings.

  • Get Him to the Greek

Get Him to the Greek 2010

★★★½ Rewatched by Benjamin Clarke 21 May 2022

    Stroke the furry wall

  • Child's Play

    Child's Play 1988

★★★★ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 12 May 2022

Saw the remake before this and enjoyed that all lot. It’s a classic, undeniably. The effects still hold up for sure. It’s just not scary, a ton of fun though.

  • American Pie

    American Pie 1999

★★★★ Rewatched by Benjamin Clarke 05 May 2022

    It’s just an absolute classic.

  • West Side Story

    West Side Story 1961

★★★½ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 11 Apr 2022

Those Jets nicknames were killing me.

  • Rope

    Rope 1948

★★★★ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 08 Apr 2022

I’ve seen frighteningly little Hitchcock but from what I have seen, this is near the top. Tight, slick and thrilling ride from the master of suspense.

  • The Firm

    The Firm 1989

★★★★ Rewatched by Benjamin Clarke 08 Apr 2022

Pure grit, stuff your Green Street (one of the worst films of all time). Gary Oldman supremacy.

  • Special Day

    Special Day 2018

★★★★½ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 07 Apr 2022

Such a simple yet effective premise. Uneasy and macabre from the get-go, with a pay-off that’ll keep you awake for weeks. That’s a horror short. Give me the feature NOW.

And please don’t palm us off with a Blumhouse* style Truth or Dare / Countdown take on this. I need a fully invested It Follows / The Invitation ‘nothing here is as it seems’ vibe. Suits this story down to a tee.

*disclaimer, I do enjoy most Blumhouse productions.

  • Blink

    Blink 2022

★★★ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 07 Apr 2022

Can kinda relate to this, sleep paralysis has a chokehold on me at times. Ending could have been better. Would definitely make an interesting feature.

  • Oscar's Bell

    Oscar's Bell 2018

★★★½ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 07 Apr 2022

Tense, suspense & a killer ending.

  • Conventional

    Conventional 2015

★★★ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 07 Apr 2022

Damn, KG got range. Real dark comedy.

  • Clerks II

    Clerks II 2006

★★★★ Watched by Benjamin Clarke 06 Apr 2022

A near impossible task to top it’s predecessor, but they gave it one helluva go. Not as slick, but still hilarious, just love these characters. Bring on Clerks 3.
