I watched this for the first time I think five years ago now, and I’ve watched it at least annually since. What Glenn does surprises and captivates me every time I’ve watched it. She is so present, so alive, she has the rare ability of being vulnerable while projecting strength. She never seems like she’s acting, she just is. GIVE HER THE OSCAR DAMMIT
Structure is probably the most important thing to me in a movie. Not Hollywood three act save the cat bullshit but ya kno just the way the order of events and beats produces meaning and emotion.
