Benjamin Rubenstein’s review published on Letterboxd :
I just rewatched this for the first time since I saw it in the theater. I feel a connection to Joseph Gordon-Levitt because he played an older and more mature version of me here. I've never met him, we're not related, and I have no reason to care, but I guess that's the power of movies. He tapped into some kind of truth in this role that I didn't even understand myself when I was an adolescent with a sarcoma, and I don't think he has ever had sarcoma. I guess that is simply called g-damn m-f'ing talent.
