I mostly sought this out because it ranked highly on the new Sight & Sound poll, even though it's only 14 minutes long. The opening title card reveals that it was essentially shot for peanuts in the home of the filmmaker and for that, and its trippy subject matter, I can fully understand its inclusion on the list now.
Having never heard of this or the filmmakers until last week, it feels like the ushering of a new, independent era of filmmaking. I'd love to know more about it and what went into its making.
