It’s taken me far too long to dive into the world of Twin Peaks, especially since I consider myself a big fan of Lynch’s work. Obviously, I loved it a lot and it’s really all that’s been on my mind as of lately. Kicked off my summer break with the first two seasons and now this haunting prequel film, but I’m thinking I’ll take a little break and save The Return for next month or so. This was well worth the…

Ray Liotta, man, you will be missed. This is a very important movie to my life and obviously it wouldn’t be the same without him cast as Henry Hill. I say it every time, but this film is simply miraculous in each and every department and continues to amaze me. Seemingly always wraps up in the blink of an eye, the runtime feels like it’s only 90 minutes for me lol

I had previously thought this was my least favorite Tarantino joint. Now, I have no fucking clue. This thing is a vibe and a half, as with all his other films. My original problem on first viewing was that the second half left me wanting lots more. After seeing Stuntman Mike’s method of murder, I remember being absolutely appalled and I’d instantly anticipated some sort of Tarantino-slasher from that moment on. Now, since a good amount of time has passed…

Crazy quotable and forever timeless. Starts off so wacky and everything is played up to the maximum, almost feeling clichéd, but that’s just how this film rolls and soon enough you’ll find yourself completely sucked in. The script is just too sharp & the lingo is next level catchy. Every character brings something special to the table, the casting is fantastic. Such a time capsule of a movie with few dull moments.

Instantly 5 stars for the introduction alone, but what truly makes Boogie Nights so wonderful is that in reality, the porn industry is solely used as a backdrop to support the phenomenons in which Paul Thomas Anderson wanted to throw at us. The film, to me, is really about family and acceptance, as well as the idea of chasing perfection within an art-form, the big ol’ goal of filmmaking becoming something much more than just entertainment and finally the way in which…

Very high up in my list of all time favorites. The soundtrack never gets old, possibly my comfiest comfort film. Best ending ever.
