"I just thought there would be more."

The biggest complaint I've heard about Boyhood is that "nothing happens", and I think that's missed in the movie, the meaning. I mean--the kid says it a few times but we don't really listen because he's a kid. Life isn't all that exciting but we can make it exciting by enjoying the experiences. Great movie, I stand by my original rating.
