THE GOLD RUSH (1925)
Not my favorite Chaplin, it lacks the sweetness and warmth of CITY LIGHTS or THE KID and the political commentary of MODERN TIMES or THE GREAT DICTATOR. All of the good gags here have been beaten to death over the decades, from Bugs Bunny cartoons to other comedies.
