I’m The only Juan’s review published on Letterboxd:
Much better upon revisiting, very underrated movie, and I know that statement is basically said by everyone about every movie. But seriously, I barely know anyone who’s seen this and I bought it insanely cheap. In the crime genre, the violence is what pulls you in and it’s got plenty of, although this feels more along the lines of using gangsters as an analogy of the economic recession.
The ending is what wraps it all up in a bow, great film that knows when deliver the good stuff, might be a bit of a slow-burn, yet makes it worth your while.
