I’m The only Juan’s review published on Letterboxd:
The madness, lunacy I say! Perfection of The Lighthouse is unmatched, the film is made for me. A Lovecraftian tale to remember, let’s your imagination run wild. At some point, I was the third person in the story and I think I’ll never recover. It’s interesting that the film chose to see it through one point of view, because mainly restricts the viewer, yet Robert Eggers knows what he’s doing and makes the film ambiguous, questioning even the point of view of the one who’s watching the film.
The Lighthouse is a movie that will question your own sanity, left me wanting to rewatch the whole film, just to make sense to the senseless.
