bethany 🕊’s review published on Letterboxd:
if 2 + 2 is 4 ... and 5 + 5 is 10... what the f*ck is this
edit: ok i watched a video explaining it and now i respect it more. enough to give it 2 stars. but i was still bored.
edit: gone back to 1.5 stars after rethinking because this film is so incomplete. it is strung together with a very loose plot - that is not interesting in the slightest - with some objects thrown in to represent something deeper just because david lynch said so. none of the characters meant anything to me and it is so disjointed and empty and the acting is bad and it looks like it was filmed in the 80s and the 13 minute video essay on youtube was more interesting than the two and a half hour movie. i’m frustrated.
edit: david lynch fans have mercy
