    The narrative moves the way the camera does- snaking through interactions, all carefully choreographed to feel perfectly natural. Discussions about the death of cinema and supremacy of blockbusters and fruitlessness of adaptations were thoughtful, and timely, and I like how these themes about cinematic language resonate with the lead not speaking the primary language of everyone else in the film. Sometimes a man just has to make a film about the power of Maggie Cheung in a latex body suit and I respect that.
