    the first rule of writing is that it’s gotta be bad before it’s good and this is a movie about people trying to deny the bad to get to the good. which. understandable. it was cute. 

    owen teague was surprisingly my favorite performance in the entire thing i wonder if he’s going to be the next resident of the a24 basement (please don’t have racist tweets)

    i love miles SO much he’s pookie like that’s my FAMILYY the BEST parts were miles and his parents. the animation was so gorgeous they were having such a ball in that batch. what really struck me is how they brought New York to life. it felt so lived in and loved. 

    (love u pookie but the movie started with a 20 minute extended prologue which. personal ick. but then the pacing didn’t get much better from there like it ended 4 times???? whatever who cares)
