I‘m so blessed to have been able to see this at the cinema!
The theatre owner even held a little speech, and told us that the reason for the screening on this particular day was, that the first German Premiere of 2001 was exactly 50 years ago on this day!
So today really was a special day.
I went to the cinema alone for the first time, and have been REALLY nervous, I remember 6months ago i wasn’t even able to leave the house, and had a panic attack everytime I saw a person.
And now I made it to the cinema alone?! (I mean my mom drove me, BUT STILL)
This just shows me how much my depression and social anxiety has held me back, and I’m so glad that I finally (but slowly) get to do the things I always wanted to do!
My anxiety is still holding me back from a lot of things, but I’m sure I’ll be able to conquer that too soon!
I pity everyone who doesn’t have the chance to ever see a screening of 2001, the experience alone is already amazing, but at the cinema even more breathtaking!
I just love movies so much, and they helped me fight against my depression and anxiety more than anything else ever did!
I don’t ever want to give that away 💕
Anyways I‘m dead now and omw home and REALLY hungry.
