    QFT Early Press Screening!

A fantastic film about anxiety and how that can build and build leading to disastrous results.

It didn’t lose me for a second. I was honestly engaged throughout and desperate to know what would happen next. The film does a perfect job of placing you in Pete’s shoes and making you feel just as confused as he does. Such a great example of a director knowingly exactly what tone he wants to convey in each moment.…

Yeah mental illness do be that way. It's impossible to read anyones affect in the film as anything other than cruelly hostile? Hey. Yeah. Having to make a conscious effort to assume good intent when every fibre of your being is screaming at you that this is dangerous and you need to get out? Fucking stellar. The sweaty nightmare of people.

had a great time with this; both funny and deeply authentic about anxiety in a way that taps directly into the nightmarishly awkward situations that are so specific we all think we're the only person whose felt that way. avoiding spoilers but also thought it ended in a way that was incredibly smart and terrifying in a way very loyal to the core theme

Scarier than a horror, more intense than a thriller. All My Friends Hate Me fucked me up

Engaging premise of turning around relatability where you can see how absurd our insecurities can actually be. Good acting, really good climax. Not much bad to say here other than the film being pretty straight forward all the way through including the anti-twist (which was still well done imo) and some of the characters being perhaps underutilized. Still, a very enjoyable movie.

Brilliantly uncomfortable to watch. I was very much on edge the whole time. But also very funny.

There’s some very effective editing and camera work as well as good use of music.

(More of a mystery/comedy than horror I’d say)

Half funny and half painful self-conscious social horror. Extremely effective, almost to a fault.

From the people who brought you Stath Lets Flats.

Great concept and really brilliant characters. Lots of laugh out loud moments alongside some genuinely terrifying scenes.

Really plays with genres, keeping you unsure what sort of movie you’re actually watching. But keep an open mind and you’ll have a blast.

I’ve also never seen a movie explore the wicked combo of anxiety and narcissism like this before.

I must watch for anyone who has been in a situation where they think everyone hates them.

This movie is my literal nightmare, and I love it. Not so much a horror (so don't go expecting that and then give this film a low rating please!) as much as it is an existential comedy/drama.
