Ryusuke Hamaguchi is a master of dialogue and character study. The way these three stories had me wanting more from each of them isn’t a bad thing, but a compliment of Hamaguchi’s ability to captivate you with these vignettes of loss and chance. This one will be rattling in my brain for quite sometime.

It is insane how many bangers John Carpenter has made over his career, yet no one ever gave him a stack of blank checks to make movies forever. I can't believe this isn't in conversation when people talk about movies where people are unspeakably horny for cars.

ok but for real... Coen bros never fail at crafting some of the most interesting, memorable characters I've ever seen, and pacing their stories in a way that command your complete attention until the very end. also the colors in this are absolutely gorgeous.

I was laughing and smiling all the way through this movie, it was just a lot of fun.
