Not sure if I liked this or not, but this sure was a strangely awkward film. And when exactly did Michelle Williams become a Stepford Wife?
It's a glorious revival of the once popular (and apparently completely forgotten) sketch comedy films such as The Groove Tube, Kentucky Fried Movie, Tunnelvision, Can I Do It 'Til I Need Glasses?, etc. Yes, it's silly and stupid, rude and crude with absolutely no pretensions of high art or sophistication and I loved every minute of it (and apparently so did the audience I saw this with). As to be expected, it's a mixed bag of sketches to be sure,…
The most physically painful piece of shit that I've forced myself to sit through (why??) since Michael Bay's Armageddon. To know that the director wasted the last 15 years of his life on this excrement is just mind-boggling...but not as mind-boggling as the fact that I sat through all 3-hours of this shit even though I knew after 10 minutes that things weren't going to get any better. The production design is impressive...I guess.
