    Immoral Tales

    β˜…β˜…β˜…

Horny porny 70s nonsense. Watchable but in no way as controversial as it was in it's day.
The only really memorable tale of this anthology is the Erzabeth Bathory story, that unsurprisingly made the poster.
    Fun but silly...

    Get Carter

An all time high for Michael Caine. He has never been harder than in this movie. The cheeky cockney veneer that hides a core of psychopathic granite.
It is a tale dripping with underworld venom and as the story progresses it is interesting to note how Carter 's quest for vengeance becomes less about his dead brother and more about him dealing with the personal slight he sees the said death as being against himself.
A brilliant gangster movie , if very much a film of it's time...

    Night of the Living Dead

    Hooptober 4: movie no 17.

It has been many years since I saw this and I had forgotten how good it is.

The sheer simplicity and efficiency of the plot is great. The ending is a bit of a downer but fits the overall tone of the film.

The fact that the movie happens almost in real time and the pacing make this a late night horror movie of the first order.
