chloe’s review published on Letterboxd:
I had such high expectations for this aaaaaand good news! It exceeded those expectations. It absolutely went above and beyond. I knew it would be good but I had no idea it would be that good. It’s not a word I throw around a lot but this is perfection at its finest, but then again it’s taika so of course it’s perfection.
I don’t even know where my mind is right now because I feel like I’ve just spent 2 hours inside Taika’s mind and it was the best 2 hours of my life. This is a Taika film through and through and that makes me so happy and I feel like my heart could burst with pride, because I’ve been a fan of his for so long now and I love him and his work so much and to see him finally getting the hype and appreciation he so truly deserves is incredible. I’m not even going to say much more, just wow ... it’s certainly living up to all the hype and all the great reviews and I’m gonna go see this again on Tuesday and I absolutely cannot wait and then maybe I’ll be able to write a proper review then instead of basically writing a love letter to taika.
One final thing ... This is Taika’s world and we should just be honoured that he’s kind enough to let us all live in it.
I’m so happy that man is alive and is making films and I’m so happy I’m alive and I get to watch his films
(P.S. take a shot everytime I say Taika’s name in this review)
