Hereditary - 7/10. Hereditary, directed by Ari Aster, is one of those movies that seemingly everyone I know loves, but I just couldn’t get into that much. Its a solid psychological horror movie with an absurdly amazing performance from lead Toni Colette, but, its just a little bit dry and stale to my liking. Its a movie that has a good atmosphere and vibe to it, but its just missing that spark that could make it terrifying. As a drama, it is spectacular with amazing performances. But as a horror movie, it just doesn’t hit the mark as much as it wants to for me!
