"You've had a fright. Hysteria won't solve anything. Now control yourself!" —says rando man the protagonist has NEVER MET as he GRABS HOLD OF HER AND WON'T LET GO.
I understand that this movie wasn't necessarily going for a Being A Woman In This World Is Often Terrifying vibe, buuuut it's there nonetheless. Her across-the-hall neighbor ALONE, omg, and he's just run-of-the-mill terrifying, not even supernatural!
