Love Story 1970
I think it’s fair to say that this film is the foundation for a lot of drama romance films we see in the 21st century. It withholds the test of time with the morale of the story still being relevant with the plot being simple but effective, i really enjoyed this and it deserves all the praise.

A classic Romeo and Juliet/ West Side Story romance in which the MCs are destined to be, but cannot be.
The film uses gang rivalry and cultural differences to achieve the forbidden love, the aesthetics are great with nice cinematography which distracts from the plot which at times falls flat, with many storylines and characters being undeveloped, for example,
he has gun - he is bad rather than he has gun - yes this is bad but what lead him…
