i really loved this. to be honest, i wasn't sure if i was gonna like this, as the concept seemed kind of absurd, but the execution was perfect. it felt like a dream (or, more accurately, a nightmare) that you couldn't wake up from. the cinematography and score helped elevate this film to a whole other level. and, in true argento fashion, this had a fantastic, shocking, and bloody finale. this was surreal, grotesque, beautiful, uncomfortable, and definitely not everyone's cup of tea. though nothing will ever beat out suspiria as my favorite argento film, this is definitely my second favorite of his.
also, if you're a lynch fan i'd give this a watch, parts of it reminded me of his style (but, of course, it still had argento's mark all over it in the best possible way.)
