Trashy as fuck! Like some bastard child of Paul Verhoeven, Crank, and FPS gaming. Not as epic as that sounds unfortunately. When the gimmick works, it adds a layer of tension to the combat due to the limited vision. Other times, it just grates to the point of mental and physical fatigue. This is practically non-stop action, irreverent violence, and dirty comedy. The plot is a mess, yet the "save the princess" objective is beautifully subverted for a good laugh. Such a clever ending for something that is not so much. One viewing is enough. Much like a roller coaster, it thrills and then you move on.

P.S. Sharlto Copley has such a blast playing multiple characters, that I wish the film could live up to his level of enthusiasm.
