Blain LaMotta’s review published on Letterboxd:
Don't you just love it when a final shot puts an entire movie into perspective and enriches the entire experience? RAW fucking does that. This is one wild ride that I can best sum up as old school Cronenberg with a feminine touch. Writer and Director Julia Ducournau takes coming of age tropes and melds them with intense body horror to explore burgeoning female sexuality to an almost comic degree. Simultaneously erotic and repulsive with a visual flair that charges each bizarre revelation with vital energy, RAW lives up to its title with infectious glee. This is the level of quality that all genre cinema should aspire to.
