Steven Spielberg is underrated. It sounds ridiculous I know, but it's true. Watching one of his pure entertainments is an experience like no other and makes you notice just how lame modern blockbusters are these days. He has the technical skill set of a seasoned vet with the heart and soul of a fresh faced noob. With nostalgia being so fashionable these days, it only makes sense that he would outdo everything and make the ultimate nerd flick to end all nerd flicks. I can't wait to watch this again and again. Like the best of pop art, it enhances our reality and make us see it with curious eyes, which expands our imagination and allows us to connect with other people in new and interesting ways. For the world is only as good as the ones we share it with. Because sometimes it takes a fiction for us to see what matters most.
