    Ingrid Goes West


    This was everything that I hoped it would be. Dark, hilarious, intense, suspenseful, and easily some of the best performances of the year. Aubrey Plaza's character was easily the most intriguing character that I've seen in an extremely long time. Everyone is complaining about the ending, but I didn't mind it, and felt that it fit with the dark and satirical tone of the film. EASILY the best film that I've seen all summer, and the best of the year so far. I can't wait to watch this again.

    This film is dark, yet so sweet at the same time. Kyle Mooney is fantastic in this, and gives one of the best performances of the year so far. Ryan Simpkins is good in this. Her character was a bitch in the beginning, but then randomly became likable in the middle of the movie. The movie contains heavy themes, while still being optimistic in a non-tasteless way.     Still the best comedy of 2016. This has cult classic written all over it. While not as good or as wonderfully weird as Hot Rod, it's still a fantastic and very well written comedy. The academy also needs to nominate this film for best original song!
