Living in a dream called Cinema.
Don’t forget to select your favorite films!
A cruel misconception and construction of an almost perfect excercise in dream-logic genre fare treated like a bland and grotesquely eccentric version of a film that was never meant to be handled ever again to begin with. A few minutes of interesting body dismorphia could hardly make up for a tedious and overlong chamber drama which obliterates any sense of atmosphere, artistry, or engagement and instead offers drab cinematography, pointless performances, and hides behind the laurels of its director rather than the work itself. If there is any modicum of worth in the film it's that it was inspired by something great and not much else.
