Blob Cat’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's hard not to laugh at Adrien and Daniel's absurd narcisso-chauvinism portrayed so starkly and unapologetically here in Rohmer's fourth moral tale, but then you remember that their behavior is a performative signifier of generations of white male privilege, that same privilege that flung open the White House doors to a certain someone who shall not be named here, but then you realize that just about the only thing you can do right now is laugh, or smile slyly and completely psychologically terrorize these assholes, reducing them to the sniveling cowards they always were.
In all sincerity, I think I serve mankind better by taking it easy than by working. It's true. It takes courage to not work.
