Blob Cat’s review published on Letterboxd:
Postmodern love propaganda slickly packaged for cynical, self-aware, 90s yuppies with disposable income but no idea how to date or maintain an adult relationship. Can’t wait for Gen Z to watch this and marvel not at the radios and CRT computer screens but at the fact that the central conflict comes from Tom Hanks being unable to find love despite thousands of women begging to date him, that and the fact that its leads are a reporter for a print newspaper and an architect with the career flexibility to just pick up and move to a new city because he sad. Still, very slick stuff.
I never believed in an afterlife, but now I don’t know.
