Blue is infinite.
Blue is a masterpiece, an entirely blue screen as a man comes to terms with his death. He is blind, has AIDS, and is in the hospital. But blue is so much more, blue is life, blue is everything, blue is the sky, blue is nothing.
Blue focuses on the themes of mortality, acceptance, death, and love. Everything in this man's life is fleeting, love isn't forever, and nothing is.
The most amazing thing about Blue is it's backstory, the director went blind while doing a movie, so he decided to do this, recounting his stories about AIDS and life with death around every corner, people he knows committing suicide.
Blue is a film about mortality.
Please watch it if you haven't, it's on youtube, only an hour long. Experimental cinema is becoming my favorite genre.
